People need to realize that things can always, always be much worse... myself included
Lots of us make our own little dramas into something much more serious then they really are, and I'm not saying that I don’t do the same thing. We all say things like "my life is over," when its really not. Or "it can’t get any worse," when it really can. Or "I've lost everything," when we truly haven’t. Society forgets how blessed many of us truly are, and although there are struggles, there are so many more that are so much worse off then our clothed, fed, sheltered, educated selves. And yes, its true that our own little emotional world comes crumbling down sometimes, but that is where emotional strength comes in. When we need to we can survive, many of us just choose not to pick ourselves up and try to move forward. We have support systems in our lives that we aren’t always aware of, or ones that we barely notice or take for granted. Sometimes its deep within us, and it just takes time to realize it.
When I do things like this, I honest to God feel so selfish. Then it sets off the emotion that not only am I being ridiculous, but I feel bad for feeling bad. That doesn’t happen to many people though, and I don’t understand why.
I'm not saying I don’t think its acceptable to have our own little mental break downs sometimes, because everyone has them, its just when little things become constant big things and others not realizing how envious others may be of their lives which they think are terrible.

since the holidays...
i have never been so busy in my entire life- Between dance, dance teams, PAC, forensics, SMAC
....and although it gets stressful....i love it :D
my grades are the best they ever have been in high school
the college search is getting confusing and is making me nervous :(
my family life is going pretty well... over all...i really can not complain
my friends are so amazing...they really are <3

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
This was one of the best christmas's that i can remember. Everything turned out well....it really did :)
Wigilia at Babcia's, to the morning with my parents and Daniel Thomas, to Aunt Joyce's and Grandpa's visit, to the Paterek's, to the Shmitz visit at our house....
Everyone for the most part was truely happy, and I would not change a thing

I'm not going to get into detail, but i must say that this thanksgiving break has been absolutly wonderful so far. i have been having loads of fun with some of the greatest people i know, and am getting to know. the nights you can spend laughing until your cheeks are sore and your stomach hurts are the best kind. I still have two full days left until i go back to school and i am going to have fun every minute i can.

( Brief Summary of the Last 4 Months or so... )
Now: I'm in San Francisco with my family. My dad had to come here on a business trip, so we turned it into a second vacation. The suite they have us in is really nice with a great view. Today we went on this really long bus tour that lasted about 12 hours...the morning was really rough but as time went on i guess i got used to it. tomorrow were going to wander around and then the day after were going to Alcatraz...yay |

so...
La Danse had it's first competition of the year today, Applause competition in Peramus
and...
we did pretty damn good :D
MY NUMBERS
Dancing Fool-(production)- High Gold, First place overall in large groups
Blue Grass Rules-(large group tap)- High Gold, Third place overall in large groups
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-(large group jazz)- High Gold
Sound of White-(small group lyrical)- Gold
Big Noise from Winetka-(solo)- High Silver...(dont ask...i was robbed)
all the groups did really well and i think we were overall satisfied :)
aside from a few set backs, such as taylor accidently punching me in the face, and getting my fish nets ripped on a chair, and my powder glitter exploding all over my black costume and gloves, the day went by smoothly. i really had a blast and i can't wait for the next competition :)

today i woke up to a blizzard and i didnt do anyhting except clean and make brownies...so i went for a walk around 8
- i started off walking alone
- i decided to make everyone come outside
- i ended up with chris, danielle, steve, brian, matt, and kimmy
- we slid down the street on the ice
- threw/tackled each other into the snow
- had a snow ball fight
- got snow in my clothing and got soaked
- went into brians for shots
- it took me a while, but i took one, amazingly
- then after defrosting a bit and being wet, danielle and i went back outside to walk home.
- my pants hardened
- i slipped and fell on my ass
- i acidently took steves phone home with me and brian had to pick it up
now my entire body is red and im still shivering. i honestly have to say those are some of my favorite people ever and i woudlnt trade times ive had with them for the world.

today after my long boring day of work...my mom and brother came to the city. we all went out for dinner..and then we went to see HAIRSPRAY!!
so it was 7th row aisle seats, orchestra...
and we got those seats yesterday
talk about luck!!
i LOVED the play. i called missy at intermission to talk to.
there were technical difficulties in the play...so imagine this
- an obese house wife (actually played by a man)
- a husband smaller than her
you could tell they were added lines because the husband was laughing and broke charecter...but anyway
they were singing "timeless to me"
*music begings to not work*
edna: *tosses robe over shoulders* CARRY ME UPSTAIRS!!*attempts to seduce wilber*
wilbur: *looks at her in shock and holds back laughter*
